windows 7 home vs professional?

I use Windows 7 Professional at home. The extra features don't get in the way. I just don't use them. There are a few extra networking functions such as being able to be joined to a domain (don't need it) and branch cacheing (don't use it) You can back up your stuff to a network drive with Windows 7 Professional, but I have never had the occasion to do so. There's Bitlocker disk encryption but I'm not that paranoid about my stuff. The XP Mode is the only feature that I would probably use.
