AT&T wifi so slow?Any tips that will Help?!?
So I have At&T uverse and we have the cable , phone, and internet..so I got a Toshiba laptop about a month ago, and I downloaded Chrome to use regularly because I hate internet explorer and I use Gmail for school and YouTube and i like Google more than any other search engines. etc. Looking things up really isn't a problem. Viewing videos can be excruciating its makes me want to cringe every-time I want to watch a episode of a show on Hulu or even just a 3 min video on YouTube its just so slow..I cant stand it! I've cleared my browser history I heard that works is there any other tips that i should do? I would call but everyone knows AT&T's phone reputation i rather have normal blood pressure, because I don't end up cussing out the useless customer service people..

The problem with AT&T Uverse is that your data connection shares bandwidth with your TV. If you are watching television, you have less bandwidth for internet activity.

Google Chrome and IE aren't the only browsers in existence. Mozilla Firefox is also good, as well as Opera.
Chances are your broadband connection is entry level, meaning it wont run everything on a fast scale unless you upgrade to a higher speed. When you stream videos and that on your computer, you narrow your bandwidth. When you play games, run videos, watch tv and that you slow your connection speed
