How can I store paint without forming a skin.?
What can I add so that a skin does not form on my oil based paint. I have tried liberal amounts of mineral terps.

Only real way is to consolidate the paint into a smaller container - pouring the remainder from a gallon into a quart container.
Based on the fill level, and the amount of particles that are present, you'll probably want to strain the paint when you go to use it, regardless

Cut a thin piece of plastic bag the size of the inside of the paint can.Place it directly on the remaining
paint and seal the lid tight. Don't shake it around.

You can use a product like Bloxygen to displace the air in the can. This should perverse the finish longer.

Once you use the Bloxygen to displace the air in the can, make sure the lid is sealed down tight.
