It is approximately 21-22.5 cm across its widest point, 15-17.5 cm at its greatest vertical height, and 10-12.5 cm from front to back.
The horizontal transverse liver size might be from 20 to 22.5 cm whereas the vertical liver size ranges from 15 to 18 cm. At the level of the right kidney, the anterior-posterior liver size is from 10 to 13 cm.
