Can i delay my period using birth control?

I have never taken birth control pills before. I recieved a pack 2.5 weeks before my period was due and was advised to start the pack the sunday after my period was over. I started the pack the first sunday after i got it which was 2 weeks before my period. Will i be able to delay my period by starting the active pills 2 weeks before my period is due?

You should have asked that question of your doctor. You should always be honest about what you really want.
