FANTASY TE: Julius Thomas or Jordan Reed?
Week 11 Julius Thomas vs. The Chiefs or Jordan Reed vs. The Eagles?

I'd go with Reed in this one, but not for the same reasons as others. The issue isn't the matchup - the Chiefs haven't faced anything like the Bronco offense yet. The issue is that Thomas is not a blocking TE - all he does is catch. And with Manning being so banged up, they're going to need pass blocking TEs in this game, which means Thomas and Welker will be alternated out of the lineup. The one blcok Thomas was asked to do he whiffed and this is what caused Manning's MRI Monday. So his snap count will be much lower than usual.
The other problem is that the game is Sunday night in Denver, and conditions are supposed to be snow/rain and cold. This has the potential to be a problem for all Denver receivers, because these conditions favor defenses.
Finally, both of these guys are elite, matchup proof TEs, which means you're overloaded at that position, especially since both have had bye weeks. Even though you didn't ask, if you're still in the playoff hunt, trade one of them and get some help where you're weak. You're just leaving points on the bench for a position where you start one!

Both match ups are not ideal but I think Reed is a safer play. I'm totally buying into KC against a Denver team that has way too many weapons on offense something's gotta give, back in the Indy days with Manning he sure liked to use his TE. I'm going to guess risk/reward I take JT and that TE screen that has been unstoppable. If you want volume with a slight chance to score maybe Reed. If someone holds Denver to under 30 (28 points) it's a victory. Campbell to Cameron worked pretty well vs KC I see de ja vu all over again.

Jordan Reed without a doubt. He's been hot all season and he's a reliable TE who will get you solid points. Julia's Thomas is going up against KC's defense. Which is overall probably the best in the NFL.
Yeah i agree with you two Denver's got a lot of weapons on there team, but you're wrong to ever doubt their defense. KC is also coming off of a bye week

Julius Thomas. This is KC's first test and they WILL FAIL. There's too much talent on Denver for them to cover everybody and he creates matchup problems. Corner's are too small and LB's are too slow. Peyton'll look for Julius early and often. He is a must start.
