i didnt visit the hospital before he died?
i lived w/my ex boyfriend and his family for about a year. after i moved & we broke up, we remained in contact & sometimes hung out. his dad ended up in the hospital recently because he has cancer.
i never visited. i just couldn't. i was afraid because i had just watched a love one die in the hospital and because of how things ended between his family and I. i was wronged by him then but i still cared about him. but never talked to him again. i feel terrible. he passed away today. im miserable.
do u think i should maintain my distance or send a card to my ex's family? im not sure how they feel about me and dont want to upset them
is it ok to apologize in a card for not visiting???

Awww sweetie! I'm sorry that your miserable! Don't be. When I lost my horse (she was my first horse) losta people sent me cards and honestly they mad me feel is much better! If I were you I'd send a sympathy card. Write a little note on the inside too. His family will know that you still care. But it won't be awkward. Hope I helped!

I would definitely send a sympathy card. Sending a card simply says that you are thinking of them during their sad time. It is an acknowledgement that you cared. Not sending a card would actually be horrible.
