I don't believe it has to do with the 2GB RAM. My netbook which has 2GB only does well on the internet. Of course being a netbook its slow but doesn't hang nor reset. Try scanning your computer for junkware, adware and malware:

Clean and defrag your computer afterwards:

See if those made a difference.
By the way, do you have a decent antivirus? Try one of these:

look sachin, a week ago i was also in a condition very much similar to u.
the only thing u need to do is :
1. remove ur current anti virus
2. download and install avast anti virus (freee...) from the link http://www.filehippo.com/download_avast_antivirus/
3. run a boot time scan and delete all the files that r found corrupted by avast and then restart ur pc
ur pc will run smoothly without any restart.
4.also u should install pinform ccleaner from the link
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
and always run cleaner to clean temp files, cookies......which will make ur pc superfast.
and there is no matter of ur pc config.

Might be a virus that's why it restarts only while using internet.Usually restart problems occour due to the problems related to RAM.
Get a nice anti-virus,if the the problem persists clean the RAM with a cloth and re-insert.
Hope it works. ;)

What Simply RED said will solve your problems mostly.
I was thinking of Piriform CCleaner and Avast Antivirus too. Its most probably a virus issue.

due to low ram , many programmes , and virus
delete unnecessary programme , use antivurs , and use higher ram
