I can't get Internet Explorer on my Win 7 pc. Can anyone help with this problem?
I get my Home Page, but I am unable to go anywhere from there. If I click on my Google Mail for instance, I get a box saying IE is not responding or that my last browsing session closed unexpectedly. The router is fine (the pc I'm doing this question from is on the same router) and on the Win 7 pc, I can get Spotify, Picasa, etc from the desktop icons. So the internet connection is there, but no IE.
Please refrain from advising me to ditch IE. I use it because I prefer it to the alternatives. Thanks in advance for any helpful answers.

IE is a default browser from Microsoft, it is not a good browser....Google Chrome is a popular browser, i'm sorry but i can't support you on IE.

I know you said to refrain from advising you to ditch IE. But if you want sanity then do it. If you want aggravation then stay with it. If you insist on IE you might try to download the latest version Internet Explorer 11. But I don't have much hope for that version ether. You can get that from Microsoft at www.microsoft.com Good Luck

Try a Reboot or turn computer right off [ Unplug it] and let sit couple of mins and then turn back on. This normally fixes little problems in computer.
