where on my computer does it show how much RAM there is?

    right click on "My Computer" and click on properties

    In Windows 7 go to Control Panel click on System. A screen will come up and display your Ram and whats useable, Processor type. It will show your system type ie: 64 bit/32 bit, Operating Sytem.

    My computer icon > Properties > system details will show the RAM

    Click Start

    Right click on Computer

    Click properties.

    Go to:

    Start/Accessories/System Tools/System Information. This works for WIN XP and VISTA. Later OS's may be a little different.
