Anybody hear about the recent findings that tattoo inks contain carcinogens?

I just heard [in the last week] that tattoo inks, which are classed as industrial chemicals, contain cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and nano particles which are known carcinogens.

Did nobody hear about it or is it not a concern?

Update:

It's a worry that it's not overseen by the surgeon general or the like. If nano particles are a big concern in sunscreen, something that is only a surface application, it must be a concern in something that is actually impregnated into the skin.

baby oil is a carcinogen, doesnt mean people stop using it

there are classifications, some are worse than others. if this is the case and its still in use then it must not be so bad
