Energy efficient electric cookers?
I started thinking of that my traditional electric stove top is inefficient.
Lots of heat is lost on sides of non insulated pan or pot and as well all energy used to heat stove is lost.
I became to thinking there must be pot which warms only inside is well insulated is cold to touch outside as bonus heats up quick and stays long warm. I assume such device would triple the efficiency of electric cooking and price of purchasing would be saved on electric costs. Are my assumptions correct? Any ideas where to buy one?
I know induction cookers exist and they get around the problem of heat lost heating stove. But I believe insulated pot with heater integrated on bottom would be even double efficient.
I imagine something like insulated water boiler in form of pot should exist.

As to pots with insulated sides - no.
Heat lost through the sides of the pot, however, is small compared to heat lost through the top - therefore, whenever possible, keep the lid on.
As to heating up stuff that doesn't need to be heated, or losing heat through the bad coupling/air gap between pot and stove, though, the current solution is an induction stove.
