What are your thoughts on last night's controversial no-call?

I'm talking about the NE/CAR game. Should the refs have gone through with the penalty, or did they do the right thing by not calling anything and running away?

There are no easy answers here, but Monday night, common sense got trumped by thick prose and too-nuanced attempts to legislate every possibility in a football game. Rules are intended to allow players to compete fairly to win the game. If we're going to allow a receiver to get bear hugged in the end zone as the ball falls in the area, then why have a rule book at all?

I think it's funny that a call like that finally went against the Patriots.

Brady will demand a mid season rule change and get one ...again.

good no call , not going to explain why because you can just turn it on ESPN and ive been explaining why the past 2 days

but they shouldnt have just ran off the field they should have told them why there was a no call

I don't know if the ball was catchable, but it was at the least defensive holding

Should have been a flag in my opinion. Oh well, officials aren't perfect.

There should've been a penalty. It was a catchable ball.

They should have thrown a flag. Giselle was very upset that they didn't.
