Could it be argued that Brady played one of his best games, even though he got his head smashed in all game?
Anyone who questions Brady's toughness should watch this game. His oline let Denver's pass rush get to him all game long, and yet, he kept getting back up after every hit (suffered more than a few brutal hits). He was very clutch in the 4th despite the constant hits. Ultimately the win is all that counts, but I thought he played well given the constant pressure. Most qbs would have thrown in the towel earlier in the game.
1 AnswerFootball (American)5 years agoWhy does everyone celebrate when the Pats lose?
They still won the SB, so who cares if they lose in the regular season? Lol.
17 AnswersFootball (American)5 years agoDid Josh McDaniels and Matt Patricia cost the Pats their season?
Obviously the fumble is the main reason why Denver found itself back in the game to begin with. But I felt like the Pat's defense got way too conservative in the 4th (only to not be conservative enough on the last two DEN scoring drives), and the Pats inexplicably tried throwing it a ton all night, even when they had a chance to go to Blount and run off the clock a bit with just under 3 mins left. This is the main reason why I think the Pats are done. McDaniel's overconfidence in Brady basically cost Gronk his season on a needless pass play, and the Pats will probably go down with Gronk :(
5 AnswersFootball (American)5 years agoAre signs pointing to a Colts/NFL conspiracy against the Pats?
Doesn't anyone find it odd that D'Qwell Jackson was reported as being the whistleblower, but yet now he denies ever telling the equipment manager that the ball he intercepted was deflated? He even went as far as to say he didn't notice anything wrong the ball (which is consistent with Brady and Blount saying they didn't notice anything different either.) Could it be perhaps that whoever snitched on the Pats switched or tampered the Patriots footballs?
Also, a report came out saying that the Colts had complained to the league after the Novermber game against the Pats that something might be wrong with the footballs, but yet the NFL never notified the Pats of the accusation, nor did they investigate until now. Now, Pagano denies this and says he didn't notice or hear anything about the balls being deflated.
So then, is someone trying to frame the Pats?
5 AnswersFootball (American)6 years agoWill Rodgers and Peyton choke in the playoffs again?
I say Rodgers chokes against the Seahawks, and Peyton gets bounced by the Pats. Rodgers always goes 1-and-done, other than the one year he won the SB and when they beat Joe Webb's Vikings LOL. Peyton makes LeBron James look clutch LMAO
5 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoWhich NFL game are you looking forward to most?
BQ: How do you feel about the season almost being over (only 4 game weeks plus the SB left)?
14 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoSo did the playoff standings basically stay the same?
Since Pats failed to claim the #1 seed, Cowboys failed hard to tie the Eagles in the NFC East, Saints basically lost any slim chance of getting the #1 seed, and Cinci looks like they're going to fail to move up into the 2nd seed.
3 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoWill the Bengals be the last team today to let go of an opportunity?
Pats squandered an opportunity to take the #1 seed, if only until next week.
Saints lost any slim hope they had of getting the # 1 seed.
Eagles failed to build a comfy lead over the Cowboys for the NFC East.
Titans pretty much are done after failing to get a much needed win over the Cards.
Cowboys choked, putting their playoff hopes in the hands of other teams, for now.
7 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoShould Romo be considered a choker or not?
I could care less about the Cowboys, but was just wondering after watching this game.
6 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoIf Brady somehow manages to put the Pats on his back and carries them to the Super Bowl?
even though they have a bunch of starters on IR...and if the Pats somehow, miraculously manage to win the Super Bowl, should Brady be considered the best QB of all time?
9 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoIs this the craziest week in football so far?
Pitt and Balt games had crazy endings, now the Pats just recovered the onside kick. WTH?
2 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWho expected that ending in Pittsburgh?
Sucks to think you got the miracle play, then you realize you barely stepped out of bounds. He had it too, just was a little careless.
3 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhy are the Patriots struggling so bad in the first half?
It's now been 3 weeks in a row. What is wrong with them?
3 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoShould Peyton not try to break the TD and passing YDS records?
Does anyone think that there may be a "curse" when it comes to breaking significant records(like passing TDs/yards in a season)? If so, should Manning worry about breaking Brady and Bree's records?

Also, when was the last time the regular season MVP won the Super Bowl in the same seaon, if ever? Because Manning will almost certainly be named MVP, and that doesn't bode well for the league MVP as far as winning the SB is concerned...
5 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoDid anyone else see this after last night's Pats/Broncos game?
1) Ryan Mallet kiss Brady on the cheek when he went up to hug him after the GW fg
2) A camera guy throw a punch at another camera man
6 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWould AJ McCarron be a solid starter in the NFL?
He's seen as a game-manager type, sort of like Alex Smith...so could he do well in the NFL? Maybe like on a team like the Browns or Titans, where he would have a good D and a few weapons to work with on offense?
6 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoUnder the radar team most likely to get to SB?
Which under the radar team do you think is most likely to go on a run like the Giants in 07 and 11, or like the 08 Cardinals?
NFC: I'd say the 49ers. A lot of attention on the Seahawks, Saints and now Panthers, but the 49ers still have a good defense and strong running game, more than good enough to get wins in the post season.
AFC: Colts. They play down to the level of weaker teams, but they've shown they'll put up a fight against the better teams. Since only good teams get into the playoffs, they could surprise a team or two come playoff time. The loss of Wayne though might keep them from going all the way.
5 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhat are your thoughts on last night's controversial no-call?
I'm talking about the NE/CAR game. Should the refs have gone through with the penalty, or did they do the right thing by not calling anything and running away?
8 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoHow did the Jets go from 2 straight AFC championship games?
to sucking donkey balls?
BQ: How can they get back to the playoffs?
8 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoOver/Under 70% chance Peyton Manning chokes...?
