Did Josh McDaniels and Matt Patricia cost the Pats their season?

Obviously the fumble is the main reason why Denver found itself back in the game to begin with. But I felt like the Pat's defense got way too conservative in the 4th (only to not be conservative enough on the last two DEN scoring drives), and the Pats inexplicably tried throwing it a ton all night, even when they had a chance to go to Blount and run off the clock a bit with just under 3 mins left. This is the main reason why I think the Pats are done. McDaniel's overconfidence in Brady basically cost Gronk his season on a needless pass play, and the Pats will probably go down with Gronk :(

Pats had to change their D once Hightower went down, Happened to be the same time that the Bronco's started being able to run. Had to compensate when the middle of a d is all third and fourth stringers, finishing with a guy in the middle that was signed off the practice squad during the week.

The Pats couldn't run with any consistency, Oh they tread a few times but with the O line in complete shambles, they weren't able to execute with any consistency. Nothing to do with arrogance. The Pats threw it becouse they had mismatches on the outside with Denver's linebackers verse Pats tight ends/running backs.

They could't do anything on the ground, 39 yards in 16 attempts, so they had to keep throwing and Gronkowski is known for picking up those first downs.

The defense had to re-shuffle when their best player (Hightower) left the game.

Injuries are chipping away at the Pats -- when Gronk went out, Brady was left with stale leftovers like LeDrop.

No and Gronk's injury doesn't appear serious.

Patriots got served. It's as simple as that.
