If Brady somehow manages to put the Pats on his back and carries them to the Super Bowl?
even though they have a bunch of starters on IR...and if the Pats somehow, miraculously manage to win the Super Bowl, should Brady be considered the best QB of all time?

@Lee Walsh admitted to stealing signals from opponents back in the day, and Bill Parcells said the 9ers rigged the telephones during two of their playoff games. D'oh!
To answer your question, it would be hard to say because people can react differently to a situation such as this. I remember before SB 42 pretty much all the analysts and ex-NFL players, at least from those interviewed by either Fox or ESPN, said that if Brady and the Pats came out of that game 19-0, then Brady would without a doubt be the best qb to ever play the game. Aikman, Jim Kelly, Terry Bradshaw, Elway, and Marino among others said this. Now fastforward to 2013. Since Brady's defense let him down twice in 2 SB's against the Giants, he's now not considered the best qb ever? I think that's BullShhheeett.
Brady is already the best ever, but people are not willing to accept the truth.

I'm curious, Lee Everett.. What season did Montana win his fifth ring in?
But yea, assuming your ridiculous hypothetical comes true.. you have to give it some serious thought.
As for the injury bug thing.. The Pats may have the same # of people on IR as the Broncs, but they've lost more important players (and IMO the Broncos are a better overall team with or without considering those injuries anyways).. but neither's gotten as bad of it as the Packers - losing Rodgers ended their season more or less (and that's not even counting the slew of other injuries), which sucks.

The Broncos have 10 players on IR, as many as the Patriots.
The Panthers and Packers have 15, the most in the league.
What if Cam Newton leads the Panthers to the Super Bowl? What if Rodgers returns right on time to lead the Packers to another SB run?
What if this? What if that?
Injuries are part of the game.

Yes he should. Everybody on here is hating so damn hard, it's unbelievable. What Tom Brady is doing for the Patriots is ridiculous. These haters will be the first to predict them getting knocked out of the first round of the playoffs and the very last to admit he's the absolute greatest if he wins the Super Bowl. The hatred is so damn strong, please cut the sh*t guys.

If Cam Newton threw for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns per season and no interceptions at all for the rest of his career would he be considered the best QB of all time?
Who the hell cares about this "What If" Bullsh*t. It's not happening.

Absolutely no question. His defense and offense is all hurt. No Mayo, Wilfork, Kelly, Gronk, Hernandez. If he does, there is no question he is the best ever.

only if he wins 5 more rings cus Montana won 5 rings withing spying. I think he retires with 3 rings
