Why does everyone celebrate when the Pats lose?

They won the Super Bowl last season

Everyone is celebrating because:

A. The Patriots finally can quit the "undefeated" crap

B. It's pretty difficult to like Brady and Belichick. The cheating scandals have really made them unlikeable to anyone outside of Massachusetts

C. Despite what Pats fans say, the NFL has given them preferential treatment for around 15 years through rule-making and officiating (Tuck Rule anybody?). That kind of favoritism has really drawn ire from the fans of the other 31 teams.

Because after the Deflategate bullsh**, the Patriots played with the biggest chip on their shoulders possible and everyone legitimately feared New England to go undefeated. It only took several key offensive players, including Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, to be injured for a team with a motivated rookie quarterback and a top defense to beat the Patriots.

Haters hate, it's all they do, pretty much every team and fan out there have been beaten by a Pats team that supposedly couldn't beat them, over the last 15 years. Same reason Pepsi attacked coke for decades or BK attacked McDonalds fro decades, If you can't beat them, tear them down.

As a resident of Boston, we know all the people outside of NE believe the Pats are spoiled and pampered.

Unsure.The fact is that they will be in the playoffs.They have been there 6x with their coach/qb!Don't know what other team has that resume.All teams can be beat on a given day.The ones who win consistantly are the ones to bet on

I don't celebrate teams losing

The Super Bowl was over nine months ago. This season is a new baby.

Everyone doesn't, Blind. I did not. I have seen no celebrations in my travels. Everyone does not celebrate.

Maybe they don't like the pompas azzwipe they have for a QB....

People luv to hate a winner, especially if they are perceived as unlikable.
