So did the playoff standings basically stay the same?
Since Pats failed to claim the #1 seed, Cowboys failed hard to tie the Eagles in the NFC East, Saints basically lost any slim chance of getting the #1 seed, and Cinci looks like they're going to fail to move up into the 2nd seed.

More or less. The Cowboys still control their own destiny since they beat the Eagles earlier and have a better conference record. This does make the game tomorrow between the Ravens and Lions interesting as well as the rematch between the Saints and Panthers next week.

The "if the playoff's started today" seedings didn't change in any major way. But the Panthers were helped greatly by pulling into a tie with the Saints for best record in the NFC South. The Panthers can now win their way to at least the #2 seed in the NFC (the Panthers would get the #1 seed with 2 Panthers wins, 2 49ers wins, and 2 Seahawks losses).
And with the Bengals loss and Dolphins win, the Dolphins can now win their way into the playoffs. If the Dolphins finish 10-6, the Dolphins will overtake either the Bengals or the Ravens for the #6 AFC playoff seed, since the Bengals and Ravens play each other in week 17. If the Bengals win out, the Bengals win the AFC North at 11-5, and the Ravens can finish no better than 9-7. If the Ravens win out, the Ravens win the AFC North at 10-6 (based on a better record than the Bengals, or a head-to-head sweep, if tied), the Bengals finish no better than 10-6, and the Dolphins win any tie-breaker with the Bengals, based on head-to-head result. If the Bengals and Ravens tie, but both win all other remaining games, the Bengals win the AFC North at 10-5-1, and the Ravens finish 9-6-1. The Dolphins can also still win the AFC East at 10-6 (if the Patriots drop to 10-6), based on a head-to-head split, and a better division record than the Patriots.
Regarding the Saints' chance of getting the #1 seed, it's greatly diminished, but not gone. The NFC South division winner would get the #1 seed at 12-4, provided that the 49ers win the NFC West (only possible if the 49ers and Seahawks are both 12-4). The Saints and Panthers both lost to the Seahawks, but they both beat the 49ers. For the Saints to get the #1 seed, it would take 2 Saints wins, 2 49ers wins, and 2 Seahawks losses.

The real playoff picture hasn't changed because there ar only a few teams with any real chance to win the Super bowl and they're already in.
