how do i get my own account on 3ds?

I made a mii but cant find how to switch to it to have my own friend code

Its not my 3ds but i want my own account/profile/mii or whatever so i can add people for pokemon trading, etc.

Xbox 360 is so much simpler...actually gameboy is :-)

    There are no individual user accounts on a 3DS. The system itself is the account holder and generates the friend code.

    If more than one person uses the same 3DS, there is no way do differentiate between them.

    This might change with Miiverse integration next month, but I wouldn't expect it would be much different overall than it is today.

    It is expected that each user have their own unit.

    Sorry, but the 3DS is designed to be a one-person console... So the "Account Holder" for the system is the owner itself & everything is designed around that.

    HOWEVER, with the upcoming system update to add more Nintendo Network functionality to the 3DS, which includes Miiverse support, this can change to SOME degree... but I wouldn't hold my breath for multiple account support on the 3DS.
