Should Britains cities be lorry free?

Paris had NO cyclist deaths last year on its heavy vehicle free streets -in view of our high death rate shouldnt we copy ?

    If they were lorry free like you suggest then they would also be people free because there would be no lorries delivering to the shops so they would close down and the people that worked there would then have to go out of town or the city to work in the shops that have moved so they can stock their shops, same goes for the pubs, they all use lorries for delivery so the answer is No

    If you are prepared to go to the distribution centres to collect your shopping then yes ban them..but shouldn't cyclists have to pay insurance and road tax for using the road

    It sounds a win win for everyone except the businesses who need deliveries.

    If there is a way to make it work then I think it would be great.
