Guitar Guy trying to get rid of 1 yr old Drum Set?

So, here's the dealio.. I am an intermediate-level guitarist, and last Christmas I wanted and recieved a $180 D-Drum 2 5 pc kit.. Now, I am stuck with it, and need a way to put it to use or get rid of it. My brother 'says' he wanted to play drums- but now he's a Minecraft geek.. @.@

I can't find a drummer nor will my parents let me get rid of it! Any ideas? These NEED to be reasonable, and I will not tolerate much for jokes as of right now.. Sorry and Thanks..

From what you say I guess you are young enough to be, as it were, under the control of your parents, and if they will not let you get rid of the drum kit I'm not sure what sort of "ideas" you are looking for. You sound as if you are having a dreadful time and I really feel sorry for you: you asked for, and someone was kind enough to buy you, a five piece drum kit for Christmas. Now you are stuck with it - it seems so unfair! Are you called Kevin?

How do you mean you will, "not tolerate much for jokes..."? What will you do? I'm going to try it: What has ears but can't hear? Corn!

Just stick it in the loft or something. Sooner or later you'll either decide to have another go yourself, or find someone who'll make good use of it.

Or make like Arc Attack and build a robot drummer.

Well you can look badass if you make a guitar tutorial on youtube and hav that somewhere. Lol or bring a friend over and hav him practice drums w you in hopes of making a band.

You could get one of those glass boxes that go around the drums, and then some headphones for your son. The sound stays enclosed, and the headphones protect his ears from the sound.
