My left side jaw hurts when i open my mouth?
I got braces at the beginning of this year. Before i got braces i used to be able to click my left jaw. I stopped doing that after i got braces. A month ago i started wearing rubber bands. Everything was fine until two days ago. I was at a friend's house eating ( so i took my rubber bands off ) and realized that it hurts to open my mouth. I can't not open my mouth for more than 2cm or else my left jaw starts hurting badly. I can't even yawn! The right side is normal, just my left side hurts. Is this meant to happen? What caused it and what can i do about it? Thanks :)

It sounds like, problem with 'Temporomandibular Joint' (TMJ) to me. It connects the lower jaw to the temporal bone of the skull.
These joints are flexible, allowing the jaw to move smoothly up and down and side to side. So due to tightening the facial or jaw muscles or clenching the teeth for extended period of time can put a lot of pressure on the TMJ, which is quite a possibility in your case as you had braces.
It is also caused due to, dislocation of the soft cushion or disc between the ball and socket of joint.
I have had braces and TMJ issue both but TMJ was before I got braces so its not relevant here but I can certainly suggest you to see a doctor asap.
Your might need anesthetics and muscle relaxants. They will also suggest you to avoid wide opening the jaw, supporting it with hand while yawning and sneezing.
