Nail polish question?

I got a SNS (signature nail systems) manicure last week with the colored powder, and i was wondering if i can put a regular nail polish on top of it or if that would ruin the "polish" underneath?

Update:

No, with the SNS manicure, it's like gel, it dries right away without having to be cured under UV.

    I don't see any problem if you'd put a regular nail polish on top.

    Did they cure your nails under a UV light? If so, you should be able to paint over it with no problems.
