how do you log out of yahoo email in Windows 8?
I'm new to windows 8 (help) and I cannot log out of my yahoo email.

Hover over your name and avatar top right of this page and choose sign out
You can always delete Yahoo cookies, that will sign you out too, if you really are stuck

Go to your name/picture on your mail page, and hover over it. Sign Out is at the bottom of the dropdown menu.
