Why testing of new spark plug isulator quality by screw driver voltage tester is showing dim light ?

I connected new (before installation) spark plug central electrode to line 230 volt AC and touched outer shell by screw driver tester , it illuminated dim light,but when tested by voltmeter shows zero volt , and infinity ohm ( clamp amp volt ohm meter used) any explanation please.

    The insulator does not conduct electricity and the voltmeter has enough internal resistance to dampen the very small charge that is basically being inducted by the very sensitive neon bulb in your tester.
