What's the appeal of Justin Bieber?

What about him actually appeals to people? He's seems like a bit of an asshole to be brutally honest. He seems to do really retarded things (walk out of concerts, show up late, hoon around residential areas in sports cars) yet his fans will constantly defend him irregardless of what he does. If I ask girls this they typically say "he's incredible" and that I'm somehow jealous of him?

Obviously he does have some degree of talent but he's just so full of himself.

Could someone please explain this to me because I'm really confused :/

    No I completely agree with you. I don't understand either. I think fame is getting to his head. If he doesn't come back down to earth, he will lose his fans.

    He's their idol. He means a lot to them that's why they say those things. They do know that he makes mistakes and sometimes does stupid things, but who doesn't? They want it to be about the music not his mistakes. It's kind of hard to explain but they really care about him, the real him not just his looks.

    I wonder how would you feel to have million of people hating you ? do you ever think of that , he's human too. now stop the hate please.

    And if you knew him the way i do , you would respect him too. . .you people just read rumours and think yeaaah he's horrible blah blah.
