    B is ( - 2 , - 4 ) and C is ( 6 , 12 ) .

    .

    Hence the mid point , say , D of BC is ( 6-2 / 2 , 12 - 4 / 2 )

    .

    D is ( 2 , 4 ) . and A is ( 2 , 18 ) .

    .

Hence the median AD will have the equation

    .

    y - 1 8 / 18 - 4 = x - 2 / 2 - 2

    .

    y - 1 8 / 14 = x - 2 / 0

    .

    Hence x - 2 = 0 is the equation of the median AD .

    Midpoint AB = (0,7)

    Midpoint AC = (4,15)

    Midpoint BC = (2,4)

    Median from A to BC

    A (2,18) to midpoint of BC (2,4)

Equation of line through (2,18) and (2,4)

    equation : x=2
