How to cope for the next few days after eating food that makes making burn. (Ethiopian food)

    What I would do is try a teaspoon of baking soda (bicarbonate) in a 12 oz glass of filtered water. Sip on these drinks until you get some releaf, 3-4 of them a day. The soda will counter-act acid. Avoid any acidic foods like meats, cooked tomatoes, citric fruits.

    Dairy only is a temporary relief because it becomes acidic after a few minutes.
