I'm so depressed, suicidal and afraid?
I don't know how much longer I can go on feeling like this. I've felt this everyday for the last three years and each day gets worse. It it weren't for the sadness I would leave on my family I probably would be gone. Every piece of my life is messed up.
I'm 23 and I don't think I have a good future to look forward to here. I'm so hurt and lost and rarely talk to anyone anymore

Wohhh dont be so negative. Depressions are a part of life and man just stop caring so much about what the others think about you. You start caring about what think and you will be their prisoner forever & if you are experiencing this for past three years than you should consult with a psychologist & mate you only live once so you should try to fix your life instead of talking about suicide.

You're doing a great thing by reaching out on here! Don't stop looking for help now that you've gotten over the first hurdle. Please know that there are people who can and will help you with what you are going through. You may want to consider talking with a counselor at a hotline. There are many hotlines that are 24/7 and will work with you and your situation like yours. Some even have email and/or chat if you would prefer. Hopefully, you will continue to reach out!

You are very, very depressed. If you feel suicidal, call 911, or go to a local emergency room. Depression feels awful and makes us believe negative things about ourselves and our lives that just aren't true. You need professional help from a psychiatrist and a supportive therapist. Getting support from someone can make you feel much better. Please talk to a supportive adult in your life. If you don't have anyone, call a local hospital and ask them to refer you to a psychiatrist. Tell them you feel desperate and need help right away. Depression is temporary. You can feel much better if you get the help you need. Maybe you need to spend a little time in a hospital so that you can get the help you need. The professionals there can set you up with mental health providers. Take care and please don't give up. Many of us in the Answers Community, including myself, have felt very depressed at times. Reaching out to mental health professionals can make a big difference. Take care.

We all get depressed some get it worse than others. Just imagine you're like a spirit warrior fighting the evil depression demon. You have to win because good always beats evil. I'm sorry, but quit with the non sense. You've got a bright future ahead of you. You're deppresed because you want to. All of your problems have a fix to it. And don't tell me I don't understand because I do. Take care bro.

to relax and cam yourself, breathing is important. avoid rapid shallow panting and do breathe deep and slow, also called diaphram breathing, this is calming and is good for you
have a stretch often. pleasant daydreams will distract and relax you
any type of exercise also helps, especially long walks
Prozac type meds often help
