Is it possible to switch branches half way?
Im currently serving in the Marine Corps. However I have a desire to go to BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/Seal) training in the navy. Is it possible to get the ability to switch over to go do this training and become a SEAL? I have 2 years left for my USMC contract but if I can do it earlier it would be good.

The services currently are not accepting prior service members from another branch.
The Marine Corps is not going to discharge you half way through your enlistment after they've spent money on your training.

nope, you can't even get back in the marine corps if you leave, forget trying to get into another service branch
maybe if you got into battalion recon, you might have a chance after your enlistment in the marines is up, to enlist in the Navy for Bud/s
but as a regular marine, you have no chance at all

nope. you must complete your entire Marine enlistment then pray that the Navy is taking Prior service( they currently do not)

No!
And if you're a Marine what are you doing wearing ACU's and a beret in your picture?
