What's an IBT session?

I'm in the ninth grade and I'm 13, if that helps.

The school gave out some papers to some students requesting them to attend IBT sessions.

What are they for? I'm not sure if they're ONLY for smart people, because (I'm not trying to boast, or be mean), but there there are some people who are attending that but they're not so smart?

What's it for?

    Internet Based Training

The school should have told you exactly what the subject matter of this training is beforehand. Perhaps they are merely going to show you what's available and how to access it, so everyone would be invited to different sessions. The school should also be speaking to your parents about what these subjects are that they're offering you so your parents can know whether it's something they want to involved in.
