About steam error of the game?

I'm curious exactly how you got a game from a friend. All steam games must be activated and played through a Steam username. Your friend can't just send you the game file. Doing that will not allow you to play the game because it isn't registered to your username. The only way to play his game is to sign in to his username.

They can, however, send you an activation code for a second copy, but he cannot just let you download the game file. Even if he were able to remove the constraints, allowing you to play without a steam activation code, that is ILLEGAL.

Anyway, this is how it works:

-Download Steam. www.steampowered.com

-If you do not have a username, create one.

-In order to add friends, you must purchase at least 1 steam game. (Some people say downloading and playing Team Fortress 2 allows you to get around this, but I cannot confirm it's accuracy).

-Add your friend.

-If your friend has a second copy of Arkham Origins, then he can send it to you through his inventory.

-If he does not have a second copy of the game, however, either he or you must buy your own copy.

Games which bought from Steam or Origin does not work when you copy-paste a game from the folder in a PC which belongs to someone who bought the game, because they have their own activation codes and systems to check whether the user has the game and he/she has the proper codes or access. You have to buy it or find a proper crack for it.

To buy a game, you need a steam account. Google it and you'll find how to get an accont and buy games.

Also if your friend has another copy of it, he/she can gift it to you through steam but cannot in origin.
