@ The Dude I do not see why you could not get a six-figure job in the IT industry. However, with that being said most employers are looking to hire potential employees that have all their required certifications. Now if you already taken the certifications tests and have been deemed certified then you are good to go. On the other hand, if you do not have any certifications under your belt yet you may have to settle for an entry-level job. I hope this helps you.

Sure, a degree is more a marker of your potential. You might think you know lots but actually you don't know jack. You'll learn %90 on the job, and use %10 of what you learned.
Give us an update 6 months after you get your first job.

With 20 - 30 years of experience - maybe?? Fresh out of college with a comp sci degree - not a chance.
