How do I get rid of the WOW search bar on my browser?

My grandson put a WOW game on my PC and now when I click the IE icon, I get the WOW search box.I tried going into Internet Options and changing the Home Page, but when I restart, the WOW search page is back again. I cannot find anything relating to it in Programmes and Features, and there seems to be no way of removing itI I have uninstalled the game which made no difference. I use Win 7. anyone have any ideas?

Update:

Amazing! In spite of my carefully explaining that I can't find anything about WOW in Programmes

You need to go into your list of programs and uninstall it.

Control Panel > Under Programs click "uninstall program". Once the list populates, scroll down until you see the "wow" entry, Click once on it to highlight it, then lookup and click the "uninstall"
