How does an iROLA tablet compare with a Kindle fire?

Hopefully it works good! I just ordered one for my daughter. I figured at $59 even if it does a mediocre job its still going to be ok. I have an ancient HTC that still runs decent enough...it has a more up to date OS than that HTC so should perform at least as good. "knock on wood" lol

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE IROLA! My iRola is a piece of junk as well. Its missing 2 gigs of ram, the speakers dont work and the battery cant hold a charge. This is the worst product on the market! Plus, I didnt even know it had these problems until after Christmas (it was gift and wasnt used until well after the 7 days in which nomorerack would take it back). I feel like I have been screwed by both google and Nomorerack. I dont recommend this tablet to anyone.

The Nook has micro sd slot compare to Amazon cloud service. They both got IPS display which has darker black and better viewing angle than older LCD. For Battery life, Nook Tablet is better. If you have 50$ laying around, then go with the Nook Tablet. But for customer service, you can't beat Amazon.

I just purchased 2 IRolas. 1 does not charge within 48 hours of opening it. It is dead. My kindle fire has been working for 2 years now, It is still working. Do not waste your money.

I bought one of these for my Daughter for her 1st tablet, this was the most disappointing thing I've bought this year. Out of the box I had troubles getting it to boot up, after it booted up was laggy for about 30 min then worked just perfect. Then naturally had to charge it, so I hooked it up let it get a full charge came back to it and on screen was a killed app notification, so I had to do a full restore back to factory setting. After that was working just fine... fast forward to 3 days later... now it froze so I let the tablet die, charge it... And now its stuck at the IRola animation I put it in download mode to double check my guess as to whats wrong with it and BAM i was right it messed up so bad that the Android OS isn't sending the start up command so now I'm stuck with a $70 dollar tablet that I only got 3 days use out of now its just a paper weight. I did some looking around and found out these tablets are mass produced and have 4 different companies selling the same product... its a simple RUSH TO SHIP model. I bought this for my grandson at nomorerack.com and I can't get it to charge at all, so I'm stuck with an $89.99 piece of junk.

When I call customer service no one every answers. DO NOT BUY the iROLA DX 725 tablet.

Did you buy it? I bought the new kindle fire and returned it because it doesnt have the dual camera like 2012.. so I bought 4 of these for my family so we can Skype.. has anyone tried the Skype..

It does everything I want it to do...movies, games and internet surfing. It even can run a lot of apps from the play store. You have to search for operating instructions, because the manual is sparse. For the price it is a great deal!

It works awesome, bought one for my 10 year old son and works almost just as good as the Google Nexus I bought for myself, the only thing that's not great about the iRola is it doesn't take the best quality of pictures. It however works well playing and loading games, netflix, and internet surfing. :)
