are payphones extinct or do they still exist somewhere?

    They mainly exist at airports, greyhound stations, jaila and welfare offices.

    They arn't extinct but yes are very rarely visible and used since everyone has mobile phones even landlines are used by less people.

    You can still find them at gas stations and convenient stores here and there. Last time I saw one was on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

    They still exist in Ireland and the UK towns ....
