Why my laptop is not starting???please help?
My laptop is not starting..i don`t know what is the problem..whenever i want to start the laptop by switching on the laptop,it is just showing a light grey skin..and nothing else...but all the lights are on..but screen is grey or black whatever u say..
my laptop company is ASUS..I even tried to format my computer but it is not getting started...can anyone say what is the problem...is is serious something???

i think either the LCD or LED screen of your laptop is damaged or the wiring of screen to your laptops board is loose.
go to a technician if u r not an expert.

Open your laptop and take out the RAM chip and insert it into the other Slot ( if the RAM chip is inserted in the first slot , then put it in the second slot or vice versa).
If it works then good , but if not , then :
As soon as you switch on your laptop , go to BIOS settings and check the booting priority . If the first priority is not Hard Disk , then change it to Hard Disk .
If the problem still persists , then go to ASUS Service Center . There , u will surely get your problem resolved . Best Of Luck .

can you open the bios when starting up the laptop? if no then i think its a hardware failure( hard drive) best suggestion is go to any nearest repairing centre and let them test it.
