Is It Ok To Take Panadol/Paracetamol While On Lexapro?

    as always, you should really speak to your GP about this, as they'll know the overall state of your health, and whether youre on anything else, but form a quick cursory google, it seems a fine combination.

    its a common question, and the universal answer seems to be yes. doesnt mean its right, though...

    but in reality, panadol is one of the most harmless painkillers you can take, unlike asprin which can eat away at your innards (though conversely has beneficial blood thinning properties so people with heart conditions take it) ~ the active acid in it is available in tubes from the chemist, to eat away verruccas. its kinda hardcore.

    panadol has no psychoactive effects, which is what one'd worry about when taken in conjunction with lexapro. it does not appear to contain anything which would suppress the effects of lexapro~ its working on the pain receptors in your brain, not other bits~ but, again. im not a dr.

    the only caution is to go easy with alcohol with both.

    and if youre breast feeding, its probably best to avoid it : )
