How to fix windows 7 update error 80070005?

I have tried everything ive seen online. I even created a new account on my computer for admin rights. Even when my computer says my account has admin access it wont update windows 7 with error 80070005. Im about ready to throw the damn thing in the road. I assume that a piece of a program is missing or something. I have ran norton, spybot, and spyhunter and it still isnt fixed. I restored my computer to about 2 months agos time and it still doesnt update. I cant install anything new on my computer because it wants it to update first. I know almost nothing about computers so try and keep it dumbed down for me.

Update:

Ive tried all of that. Still doesnt work.

Go to Control Panel > Troubleshooting and under Security down bottom click Fix Windows Update and run the Troubleshooter and if ask to run in administer mode[or whatever ] run it and it will prob fix windows update database and then run windows update.

This microsoft link is what I used to fix my windows update that Troubleshooter wouldn't fix and it worked real good.

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/ax66g

Block all the startup programs of third parties. Click Start, Run. Type "MSCONFIG" and press ENTER. Click the Startup tab, and disable the items individually. Click OK. Install Reginout registry cleaner, start a full registry scan. After the scan results appear, click the button Fix Now. Scan and repair corrupted system files. Again, click Start, Run. Now, type "SFC /ScanNow" and press ENTER.
