Im locked out of my used tablet I bought.?

I just bought a used asus android tablet. The owner refuses to give me his email and password. Untill I have it, I am locked out of the tablet, and it is usless. Please help me figure out how or where I can reset it.

    Turn off Prime. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons until you see message. Press the Vol UP button in less then 5 seconds. In recovery menu select wipe data Factory reset. Then restart/reboot tablet.

    This should work!
