Should I wear long boots with a short dress?

Question

I just bought these long grey boots for a dress i'm wearing to my work's holiday party. My dress is a navy blue dress that reaches my knees. My question is, do long boots go with a short dress or not. If not the lady at the shoe store said i can return them if i have my receipt. I have until friday night to figure this out so help would be appreciated!

Both long boots and ballerina (or other) flats look great with short dresses! If you want, another option is heels, they sculpt and highlight the bust and butt. Almost anything looks good with blues (especially navy!) hope this helped!

it depends on the color of the dress. But i think that would be cute. I dont particularly like grey, but... it might look good on you.

Yesss!!! It's winter, you could get away with it, you could wear leggings with some leg Warner's to tie it all together if that makes sense
