Why is it so hard for me to make decisions?
When I am asked the simplest thing ( like do I want to go with my mom to the mall or what do I want to eat Chinese or Mexican food) I freak out and it takes me FOREVER to make a decision. Like today, my mom asked me if I wanted these boots, I couldn't decide... It took me and hour before I said yeh.. But then said no. X( I feel like I'm gonna make the wrong decision and like Ima die if I chose the wrong one... What's wrong with me?

I think it's the fact that your mom pulls the rug out from under you when you finally do decide. You delay the decision so you don't have to deal with her potential rejection.
To call her bluff...and to make a quicker decision...remember this:
1. Things like "Chinese or Mexican" are NOT life altering, really. Just decide.
(If your mom goes with the opposite...you can know it's HER problem and not yours!!!! That really may be the problem...and if it is....just resolve to never do that to others and look forward to eighteen when you can grow up get out and make simple decisions without having them undermined).
So next time it's what to eat...challenge yourself to just decide. Practice in front of the bathroom mirror.. Invent fake decisions....and choose quickly...smile at yourself and you'll be ready to practice that in real life.
If anyone says "wow, you sure? You never choose so fast!"
Smile and say, "Well, anyone can change." =)
Hang in there and seriously practice the non-life altering decisions....like "paper or plastic" Chinese or Mexican" chocolate or vanilla...just choose and know you can choose the other one another time.
For more difficult things like "where to go to college" apply to several good choices and send out applications. =) That might be later for you. or might be in your past, I am not sure....but smile and practice choosing. It will get easier.
Source(s): I used to take FOREVER ordering at familiar restaurants...and Just figured out I KNOW aht they have...and I go in knowing what I want now....and at new restaurants...I get an idea of what I want either on line or just look at the menu and know that I can go back if I want to try something else...it takes a while to know what we like...and that's okay =)
