Earwig Identificatio?
Found this earwig under a log in the Houston area. Everything is right for the ringleged earwig- size, shape, antennae. However, the rear end is red colored, and the legs are not striped the way I am used to. Also, this was noticably larger than any ringlegged earwig I had seen in our area, but it fits sizes for the species, at about an inch long.
