How do you add a volume icon to your computer's desktop?
My volume control disappeared unexpectedly!!!

Which operating system are you using?
If it's Windows Vista or newer, you can right click in the system tray (lower right, near the clock) and click Properties. From there you just have to find the setting to make the Volume icon remain always visible (or be on) in the system tray. In Windows 7 it's on the first window that appears when you click Properties.
