2a (Squared) x a(cubed)?

Can someone explain to be the steps I have to do in order to work this out.

Also how would I work out:

(7d^8)^2,

50t^8 divided by 10t (cubed.

If you could help it would be much appreciated! :) .

(2a^2)(a^3) when multiplying exponents you can just add the together to make 2a^(2+3) leaving you with 2a^5 that is two a to the fith power

the next rule is if you raise an exponent to another you will multiply them together so (7d^8)^2 is really 7d^(8 times 2) so your answer will be 7d^16

    the third one (50t^8) / (10t^3)

    can be simplified to 5t^5

the rule here is to just minus the exponents when dividing and to just simplify the coefficients/ numbers out in front

"Work out" what? you have no equation, and a statement with two unknowns.

The second one can be simplified to 49d^16

    the third one (50t^8) / (10t^3)

    can be simplified to 5t^5
