Which GCSE option is the best if I want to be a vet?
I'm currently in Year 9 and I have to chose what options I'm going to take for GCSE, and I want to be a vet when I'm older. I would just like some advice/other people's opinions about this.
Obviously I will need to take Science, Maths, and English no matter what.
Currently my options are:
French
Spanish
Music Technology
History
and I need one more subject to do for my GCSE and I have to chose out of the following options:
Systems and Controls
Photography
Physcology
Food Technology
Drama
Computing
Geography
I'm just wondering which would impress as it were a veterinary collage if I were applying? I already have a college in mind and as long as I have a humanity, language, and science I'm alright but of course the grades need to be good.
Is anyone and vet and took one of these?
Did you take one of these subjects and found it helpful?

1 AnswerOther - Education8 years agoPhysics question? Power stations?
Hey, so how would you answer this question in order to gain 10 marks, at around a B-/ B+/A- level? What I know about this question is that you have to state advantages and disadvantages etc. Also compare power stations etc. However what key terms and words, would you add in, and how would you structure your answer to gain the best marks?
Question: The prevailing wind is from the west. There is a nearby mountainous area, from which a river flows through the region. The major road and rail links are shown.
A power stations to be built to supply electrical energy to the region. The energy will be used a range of domestic and industrial uses.
the choice is between a coal fired power station, wind turbines, and a hydroelectric scheme.
three local groups each support a different option.Choose which option you would support and justify your choice by making reference to financial, social and environmental implications of your choice compared with those of an alternative systems.
Thanks in advance.

2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoIs this socialphobia or what?
I've never really been the shy type of person. I was always one of the smart, confident, kids who was the kind of person who was friends with everyone, even though I wasn't popular. However when I moved to a new school around three years ago, some people said something things to me about my accent, (despite the fact that English is my mother tongue, but since I moved around a lot my accent changes according to the people I hang out with and stuff). Anyway since they sort of bullied me I lost a lot of my confidence because I never had really had had mean stuff said to me before in my life.
So recently I've started to get my confidence back however when I got picked to read out a three sentence piece of work in my English class, I literally just start to freeze up, shake, and feel like crying. I did cry but no one saw it, but it really upset me, I hate speaking up in class unless I feel comfortable enough, and I don't in a lot of my classes. Also I'm naturally quiet reserved in general and I get so scared and nervous when I have to speak. It's really only my friends and family who know I'm actually very talkative. Anyway I won't bore you with any more stories or random stuff.
But I was wondering is this a form of social phobia or something as such, because my friend has the same kind of problem and she has soicalphobia.
That's a wrap.

1 AnswerPhysics8 years agoYoutube and Copyright help?!?
Okay so basically if you wrote a song and posted it on youtube that would be okay because you own it and stuff. But if in the song lyrics there is references to famous singer's song titles, is it okay to use that? Also if you have to put some sort of disclaimer up, how would it go?
The song is not making fun of the songs or singers, more like just making up a story using the title of some famous songs, from the 50's to 90's.
So yeah please answer! :)
Thanksxx

The paddling pool and swimming pool at a holiday hotel are both heated only by the sun.
Why is the paddling pool usually much warmer than the swimming pool?
The swimming pool is warmer in the shallow end, and the coldest water is near the bottom of the deep end. Explain why is it that convection currents do not make the temperature in the pool more even?
Thanks in advance?
