Descriptive paragraph about a hot, scorching beach?

As I stood upon the surly shore, the waves of heat floated upward into the salted air. Like puffs of smoke from a constant fire and red hot to the touch. My nostrils, now open and waiting for the next assault of heat, I stood absorbed, still and exhausted with the sultry state of the sand and wves.

Open to the tingly touch of the salted foam on my toes, to cool the dusty, fire that permeated my soul.

Remembering the sounds, the smells, and the overbearing beauty, I await with mouth splayed and pantng for some relief.

I hear the gentle waves slosh on the sandy shore

Seagulls caw overhead

Sun scorches sand underfoot as I gingerly prance along, eager for the gentle wave of cool water to swish over my burning feet
