can thevenin and norton theorem be used as a substitute for nodal and mesh analysis ?

I am just unable to understand nodal and mesh analysis so i was wondering if i can skip them and rely on thevenin and norton theorem?

    No. Why not try and see if you can? Thevenin and Norton theorems just rearrange a circuit, they provide no solution.

    Sometimes yes, but the voltage and current in the Thevenin or Norton equivalent are not directly related to any in the original circuit.
