I am a civil engineer planning to study Project management in masters. I am wondering if I will be able to work in construction industry in project management roles after completion of my degree. Unlike Construction project management this course is not recognized by civil engineering bodies in UK. Basically I want to diversify and by studying project management I can apply in other fields as well

Our friendship started with this person when we sat with each other a few times in the class at university. This person was very friendly and I was making new friends after a very long time we started talking . Soon afterwards we started spending more and more time together. We would go to different restaurants and cafes together , we would be in the same groups for different projects,we used to spend a lot of time in his hostel literally and would literally talk for hours and shared secrets, we went on so many road trips. This guy helped me out in situations when I was literally screwed up and I helped him whenever i could.

In short most of our time was spent together until it was time for my bus to leave and i went home. Now the university is over this guy doesn't pick up my phone call almost every time (he used to do the same with his school friends all the time during university) despite of the fact that he almost has his phone with him all the time. He would rarely call or text me back when he doesn't pick up. It's always me who is asking him to meet up and we rarely meet though we dont live that far. I feel that I have become too much dependent on him. I feel that we only talk or meet only when he wants to.He says that I am a chapter in his life that's over. I think I have become too attached with this person and he keeps on revolving in my head. How can the other person act as if he never existed.

I know I should let go of him but how should I do it

A year or so back I could remember things like everyone else and now I struggle to remember even what I had for lunch in the morning. Could I be lacking some nutrients? Who should I talk to? I am really worried it's effecting my studies and my grades

I even have hard time remembering stuff? I was thinking about going to a nutritionist should I consult one?

At my college lectures are 1 hour and 50 minutes long with a break of 10 minutes after first hour. After forty minutes or so into the lecture I get bored of studying the same subject and can no longer concentrate. I am planning to write to my college's admin split lectures into one hour lecture and in turn increase the number of lectures (so credit hours remain the same). If you know about any university that discourages long lectures or about any researches that discourage long lectures please do mention it. I want to use them as reference.I will be very grateful for your help

Don't you feel insecure? Shouldn't it be like that you also get to know about the person you are taking to?

Actually it's my first semester at university and i have got really bad grades so I am feeling really depressed.At high school i had 3 subjects but in first semester I had 7 so I just couldn't manage to give proper time to each of them.I need some motivation now to boost myself up

My teacher has asked me to make a project on an idea that may revolutionize Computer Science in future.So here is my idea

A normally people spend up to $1000 dollars to buy a computer that suits his needs. What happens is that new softwares and games are being made all the time . After few years our computers can not run these games and softwares as they require more resources. So we have to spend a considerable amount of money upgrading or buying new computers.My idea is that we do not spend money on computer hardware instead we get very fast broadband connections.Computer sends the data to be processed to supercomputers through the internet.Supercomputers process the data and returns it to our computer.Since the data wont be processed locally in our computers there will be no need to have computers with high specifications.Like nowadays we pay for different internet packages 8Mb,16mb,50mb etc we will be paying for different processing speeds offered by companies.A person who just browses web may get a low end package (like he will be getting processing power equal to a intel i3 processor with 4GB ram) pay accordingly.While a person who uses high end softwares( requiring more resources) can get speeds equal to intel i7 processors with 16GB of RAM and pays accordingly.Our data will also be stored on the servers and we wont even need hard disks with huge capacity.I will have to research on this topic if i select it. So does this idea seem reasonable.

You can also suggest you own ideas?

I do not want a job which requires me to exert physically all the time but i can exert occasionally.Which one of these fields has better scope and more interesting jobs ? Which of these fields have more highly paid jobs?
