Are these moccasins slippers or meant to be worn outside?

They have a rubber sole for traction and the CUSTOMERS ALSO LOVE section at the bottom shows shoes, not slippers. I think you could wear them outside in cold weather but not in rain or snow because they are suede.

Could you wear them outside? Sure.

Would it be wise to buy these moccasins to wear as all day/everywhere footwear? A resounding no.

Why?

Because all that fluffy stiff inside the moccasins will mat down in short order. Your feet will sweat like crazy and because the "fur" is synthetic ...fake ...it will not wick perspiration and the result? Your feet and your mocs will stink in short order.

The only fur lining that will keep your feet warm and comfortable is real sheepskin or lambswool.

For all day wear it would be better to buy unlined moccasins and wear socks to keep your feet warm.

For the fifty bucks j.crew is selling these for you could get way better mocs.
